Burundi

I decided to hop over to Burundi for a few days. Just an hour and forty-minute flight from Nairobi, this tiny, little-known country gained its independence from Belgium in 1962.
The highlight was the Gishora Drum Sanctuary, where you can experience various aspects of Burundian drumming culture. I didn’t have high expectations, but I was absolutely blown away by their thundering drum performance! These guys are incredible. Energetic dancing and sky-high jumping are also included!
